Guto Barra

Writer/Director

Guto is a Director and Screenwriter, and a recipient of 3 New York Emmys. He

has created, directed and written documentary projects for HBO MAX, Amazon Studios, Disney+, PBS, Smithsonian Channel, and others.


In 2022, his 5-episode series “A Brutal Pact - The Murder of Daniella Perez”, became the most watched true crime series worldwide

on HBO Max. He won Emmy Awards for the docuseries "IMMERSIVE.WORLD" and the documentaries “Philip Pearlstein - Life Happens” and “Dreams from the Deep End”.


Guto’s works have been shown at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Haus der Kulturen der Werld in Berlin, among others. After amassing narrative experience in the unscripted world and developing a unique visual style in cinematic dramatization sequences for two major true crime series for HBO, Guto's goal is to apply his sensibility to original scripted films.

Peter DiMario

Writer/Director

Peter is a New York based writer, director and producer who has won New York Emmy Awards for his series IMMERSIVE.WORLD and the short documentary "Dreams from the Deep End" among multiple additional nominations. He is also a Webby Award winner for a series he created and directed for ALL ARTS called “How Art Changed Me”. He has produced multiple documentary projects, including "Under the Greenwood Tree" with The Public Theater. Additional credits include "Transcending", "Chamber MusicSociety Returns”, “On Display”, ”How Art Changed Me”, “We Are Broadway” “CHASE” and "Dreams from the Deep End", which has been screened at the Brooklyn Museum and other art venues internationally. His passion for storytelling has led him to falling in love with writing scripts for short and feature length films.

Gustavo Nasr

Director of Photography

Gustavo is a New York based Director of Photography with 20 years of experience in more than 50 countries at a range of different environments, both in documentaries and narrative.


Notable recent works include Bateau Mouche - Sinking Justice (HBO/MAX), Chase (Documentary Feature), A Brutal Pact (HBO/MAX), Dreams of The Deep End and Philip Pearlstein, Life Happens (Emmy winning shorts).


A Rio de Janeiro native, the award-winning DP sets himself apart by showing true sensitivity in a rather technical role, truly enjoying the thrill of exploring new places with eager curiosity and a unique sensibility. His emotion driven imagery plays a nice dialogue that serves and elevate the narrative.

Joseph La Corte

Costume Design

Joseph has worked on some of the most iconic shows in television. He most recent costume design work can be seen in the new limited series Murdaugh: Death in The Family for Hulu. Other projects include the Golden Globe Nominated Fellow Travelers, the critically acclaimed FX series Fosse/Verdon, for which Joseph received his fourth Emmy Nomination. His talents can also be seen in many HBO series including The Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire, Vinyl, and Divorce. Other notable television credits include Saturday Night Live, Law and Order: SVU and the Sci-Fi series from Amazon: Tales From the Loop. Joseph also designed the costumes for the acclaimed Fx series Under the Banner of Heaven created by Dustin Lance Black.


His feature film dossier is no less impressive. Joseph recently contributed his expertise to the Academy award-nominated film Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri. Other notable film projects include Bel Ami, All the Kings Men, Sex and the City 2, and School of Rock. Whether the project calls for a modern sensibility, or an interpretation of the past, Joseph brings a true sense of authenticity to every costume he designs.

Felipe Ayres

Composer

Felipe is an award-winning composer and producer of original soundtracks for films, series, and other audiovisual media. He recently scored the series A Brutal Pact – The Murder of Daniella Perez and Bateau Mouche – Sinking Justice, both released on HBO MAX.


Felipe holds a degree in music from the School of Music and Fine Arts of Paraná and a specialization in audio post-production from Spirit Studios in Manchester, England. A multi-instrumentalist, he explores experimental elements from the analog world of modular synthesizers combined with classical symphonic instruments and sound design.


Felipe is also the composer of the series O Caso Evandro and several feature films, the most recent being Private Desert (Deserto Particular) by director Aly Muritiba, for which his score was nominated at the Grande Prêmio do Cinema Brasileiro (Brazilian Film Awards).
